With original hardwood floors and exposed brick walls, this venue provides a beautiful backdrop ready for whatever design feel you are looking for. This private space is located off of the covered dock and features custom metal doors created by artist Steve Sayles. With endless indoor and outdoor picture opportunities and natural beauty around every corner, The Carriage Factory adds elegance and ease to every event.

1 day = 10:00am to 1:00am. All parties must vacate The Carriage Factory no later than 1:00am on the night of the event. In the case of multiple day bookings, parties must vacate The Carriage Factory no later than 10:00pm on non-event nights.

The 2 and 3 day options that include a ceremony will have access to additional studios on the day of the event. The galleries and courtyard are also limited to the day of the event.

It is $150 per 15 minutes over the designated rental times. Preferred vendor suggestions available as requested.

Included with Venue Fee:

  • Rental of space 10 am-1am (Extends to 9am check-in with multi-day bookings)

  • Space includes draped twinkle lights

  • Outdoor covered dock area with seating

  • Courtyard area for outdoor use such as lawn games or gourmet smoke bars

  • Fire Ring and seating for bonfire

  • Main Gallery with lounge area during event

  • 32 - 66” diameter round tables (seat 8-9)

  • 6 - 3’ rounds for sweetheart tables or high tops

  • 250 white wooden chairs w/ padding

  • 12 - 8’ tables for guest or head table, cake, gifts, and buffet

  • Setup/Take down of tables and chairs

  • 1 hour scheduled onsite consultation before your event

  • Guestbook podium

  • 6 - 8’x9’ Black Fencing Panels, used for room dividers, displays, and/or backdrops

  • Moveable bar w/ Ice Sink

  • Rolling one-door commercial refrigerator

  • Indoor bathrooms (handicap accessible)

  • On-site staff for maintenance, janitorial duties and emergencies throughout your event

  • Abundant onsite parking

  • Handicap accessible facility

Included with Ceremony Fee:

  • Option of ceremony site - 3 outdoor, 1 indoor

  • Two-hour complimentary rehearsal time

  • Two Wedding Suites for any additional pre-ceremonial needs on the day of your event

  • The Galleries for cocktail hour

  • 250 additional white folding chairs for outdoor use, includes setup and take down of chairs

  • Access to on-site decor options, such as archways, to use during the duration of your booking.

  • Sound system with two microphones - $200

The Bala Studio

This private studio emphasizes the beautiful character of the building with its brick walls and natural sunlight. The curtains at the north end of the room can be left open to allow more natural light or closed to create an additional private space. With its own entrance off North Mechanic Street, and two bathrooms nearby, this space is ideal for large gatherings of family and friends, small weddings, or community events and classes.

**The Bala Studio is located on the second floor and is only accessible by stairs. It is not handicap accessible.

The Galleries

Michael A. Palmer Gallery

Capacity - 40 $45/hr

The Michael A. Palmer gallery features local artwork with a lounge feel. With a built in bar area to serve drinks or display food, the space is ideal for birthday parties, baby and bridal showers, or other small intimate gatherings.

The Back Gallery

Capacity - 20 $25/hr

A small space adorned with local art and when used by itself is ideal for conferences, classes, presentations, or meetups of any kind. It is a perfect addition to the main gallery to add extra space for guests to flow through, or for family style seating.

Rent both galleries at a discounted price of only $60/hr!

Community Room

Art 634 has a community event studio that is perfect for bringing the community together to share and learn! If you need a space to teach a class, hold a child’s birthday party, or celebrate with friends and family, check out the Community Room. Filled with the same old world charm as our larger venues, the Community Room is the perfect fit for smaller gatherings of any type.

Price - $40/hr

Capacity - 40 seated, 50 standing

2nd floor, only accessible by stairs

Event Set-Up at Art 634

Tables and Chairs are available for all spaces, and pricing is a flat-rate fee of $2/guest with a maximum set-up for 100 guests, and we will set them up for you and take them down around your booking. Tables and chairs for up to 250 guests are included in the price of the Carriage Factory rental, see above for more information.

When planning your booking times, please include the set up and clean up of your event.
