Art 634’s mission is to grow Jackson’s local art scene by providing affordable studios to artists in a creative and supportive environment. A few studios become available each year, and we encourage you to check back or follow our Facebook/Instagram pages for announcements of new openings.

Each studio’s rent includes all utilities (electricity, heat and A/C, water, trash) as well as highspeed internet, parking/snow removal, maintained bathrooms, water/coffee/tea station, and property taxes. Renters also receive 10% off art purchases in The Galleries, free use of community rooms as available, discounts on private rentals, and a voice in the Art 634 community.

To apply for a studio at Art 634, artists must complete an application, found at the bottom of this page. If multiple artists would like to share one studio, each artist must complete an application and note the other artists they plan on renting with. If there are no current openings listed, you are welcome to complete an application and it will be considered when space is available. If your application is accepted, you will be invited to view the space and make a determination from there. Since there are limited studios, if your application is not accepted, it will stay on file and be considered as future spaces become available.
