The Make-Talk-Sing-Play Event, 24 Hours of Creation

Have you ever wondered what the process was for an artist? Come to Venue 634 to see local artists participating in the 5th Annual Make-Talk-Sing-Play Event. This magical night begins Friday, April 20th at 6:34pm and goes until Saturday, April 21, 6:34pm. For 24 hours you can watch many talented artists painting, sculpting, carving, working with fabric, creating paper art, designing jewelry and doing their artistic craft on-site. Talk to them about their process, purchase their work, be amazed at the fine artists that we have in Jackson County. We have a plethora of local musical talent to inspire and entertain all who come.

Twilight Fairy Gala hosted by Jackson School of the Arts at ART 634
Friday, April 27, 6 - 8:30pm

In celebration of the 11th Annual Fairy Festival, we have planned the most incredible Twilight Fairy Gala you can imagine. The whole evening will be magical and the end of the evening “surprise” will BE AMAZING! The Twilight Fairy Gala is a ticketed event that allows guests to visit the Fairy Kingdom ahead of the weekend crowds. Tickets are $25 per person and include a light catered meal and dessert, dancing, a craft activity, a performance and more magic than you can imagine. All children go home with a t-shirt and gift bag. This special event is a fundraiser for the children and the arts in support of Jackson School of the Arts’ mission. 11th Annual Fairy Festival hosted by Jackson School of the Arts at ART 634
Saturday, April 28 from 11-4pm & Sunday, April 29, 12-4pm

The 2 day weekend event is free and includes arts & crafts, vendors, Ye Ole Fairy Shoppe, the Cupcake Cafe, a Fairy Garden Contest, Tea with Miss Jackson Crossroads, Stories in the Forest with JDL, carriage rides, dancing fairies and performances by the Fairy Festival Players. Walk through the Fairy Kingdom and explore the dark mountain. Meet a Knight and travel to Neverland with Captain Hook on his ship. Plan to stay all day and have lunch in the Fairy Bistro and don’t forget to dress up! For more information Click Here.

Dove Tree Photography Glitter Mini Session: Dress up like a fairy and have your pictures taken while playing in glitter during JSA's fairy festival. This mini session is for children of all ages, and for children at heart. 50% of every session fee goes right back to Jackson School of the Arts, so spread the word and lets get these sessions booked! Each 20 minute session is $35 if you book in advance. I will be taking walk-ins if the schedule allows at $40 per 20 minute session. Your session will include 1 5x7 print, however, you may order additional prints online. It is recommended that larger families, or families that want a longer session, book 2 sessions back to back. Artists, photographers, poets, chalk artists, fiber artists, quilters, glass artists, potters...If it is related to the color blue, feels blue, smells blue, is all blue...then we want it at ART 634.

The Jackson Civic Art Association includes professional and amateur artists, as well as those interested in supporting the visual arts.

Salvage.Recycle.Reuse.ART Show

ART 634 has inspired people to use mixed media and at least 70% found or repurposed items to re-imagine unwanted junk into ART. They foraged through their backyard, garage, and basement, scrounged through the recycling bin to gather bottle caps, plastic silverware, and glass, and transformed trash into treasures that will hang in Gallery 634.
