Twilight Fairy Gala
Friday, April 25th, 6-8:30 PM
An exclusive ticketed event and fundraiser for Jackson School of the Arts.
The gala is a magical evening with an amazing performance, a light dinner and dancing in the Fairy Bistro, a craft activity, a gift bag and T-shirt for children and a surprise guest. This event is an exclusive private event the night before the Fairy Festival ahead of the weekend crowds and is a fundraiser for Jackson School of the Arts. Tickets on sale now. The 7th Annual Fairy Festival at ART 634 and Jackson School of the Arts, a Free Community Event
Saturday, April 26th, 11–4pm
AND Sunday, April 27th, 12-3pm

Two days of imaginative fun with arts and crafts activities, face painting, Tea with the Rose Queen, Strolling Musicians, Knights and Dragons, performances by Jackson School of the Arts Fairy Festival Players and ballet students as dancing fairies. Eat and shop with vendors and in Ye Ole Fairy Shoppe. Walk through the Fairy Kingdom. Don't forget to dress up! Some activities have a nominal fee ($1-5)

The Jackson Historic Prison Tours
The 2014 season opens in April and runs through mid-November. Experience an interactive history at The Michigan Theatre, followed by a delicious lunch at Steve's Ranch. Then, tour Michigan's First State Prison, now Armory Arts Village. See the dungeon-like old solitary area and more as lively storytelling guides share tales of fascinating history about the two largest walled prisons in the world!
