GIG Celebrated the Art of Michigan Music at Art 634

A Special Message from GIG Organizers

I want to thank everyone who came out to GIG - The Art of Michigan Music 2024. I hope you found it to be as awesome and inspiring as I did.

Without the visual artists, we would not have a show. Please visit the GIG artist page and do what you can to support these fabulous creators.

Hats off to the fantastic musicians who helped us celebrate the visual art of music: Jon Torrence, Ladyship Warship, Wilson Thicket, Carbon Decoy, Jennifer Westwood and Dylan Dunbar, The Blueflowers, Myron Elkins, and Nathan Walton and the Remedy!

This experience of sight and sound would not have been possible without the help of our wonderful planning team: Brenda, Steve, John, Berkeley, Lori, Jason, Annie, and Jena.

A huge thank you to our volunteers: Steve, John, Berkeley, Lori, Brian, Annie, Jena, Jason, Andrea, Steve-o, Estaban, Traci, Angie, Jeff, Michelle, Kelsey, Shayla, Chris, Libbye, Jessica, Scott, and Kevin. You all went WAY above and beyond!

Cheers to Nik, Chelsea, and everyone at the Michigan Music Alliance for providing the cash bar.

Thank you to Cindy, Katie, Chris, and Sadie for providing our Saturday Sessions! Hail to Bad Idea Social Club for the live podcast interview. Thank you, Jennifer Westwood, for championing local music and stirring up our media mixer.

A round of applause for the fantastic food from FFF Food Truck, Tantay Peruvian Cuisine, and Grateful Crow.

Last but not least, my deep thanks to our sponsors: Life In Michigan, Manchester Underground Music and Art, Art 634, Guitar HI Fi, Rocket Printing, Dawn Corporate Giving, Experience Jackson, Ogma Brewing, The Stratton Setlist, The Sun Times News, Michigan Music Alliance, Lucky Money Tattoo, McShane Photography, Virtue Drums, and Adorned Art Collective and Tattoo.
